TWILIGHT: ECLIPSE

This movie was fantastic! Better than the first two, action packed, and really serving you supernatural fierceness! The additional elements not in the book fit in perfectly, and all the actors really felt genuine in their roles. Looking forward to more Dakota Fanning who's villainous vamp reminds me of another little evil girl.

I def. give it two fangs up!

HENRY & KELLAN & GODS, OH MY!

This just in: Kellan Lutz, star of the TWILIGHT series, and of a little Television gem titled "The Comeback," is set to play Poseiden in Henry Cavill's new movie WAR OF THE GODS. Henry Cavill alone is enough hotness to warrent extra panties at your local theater, but then you pour on some 0% body fat fierceness that is Kellan? 300, what?

Loving this already as I'm sad to fortell the remake of CLASH OF THE TITANS is probably going to be all CGI, no story. Boo...

DANCING WITH THE STARS 10 - REVIEW

This is my first year watching DWTS from the very start, and I am very excited for the season! Everyone looks great, the costumes are fantastic, and everyone is in it to win. Shannen Doherty almost made me cry with her nervousness and joy of being able to perform for her father, who had a stroke earlier this year. Niecy Nash was AMAZING! I love her energy, her sass, and her big girl stance. DO YOU, BABY! The guys are so hot. Aiden Turner... I MEAN! I thought the judges were too harsh on Kate Gosselin and Bruno seemed extra c&nty tonight, but all in all a good time. I'm watching Pamela as I write this and I'm so excited for her! She's a huge star, she's very sweet, and I am pulling for her to do well!

HENRY CAVILL STARS IN "WAR OF THE GODS"

Very exciting news! Our ever lovable and devastatingly handsome Henry Cavill has been chosen to play Thesus in Warner Bros new movie epic "War of the Gods." The movie will also star Mickey Rourke as the villain, King Hyperion, and the gorgeous Fredia Pinto as Phaedra. This possible 3-D adventure will surely be AMAZING!

ALICE IN WONDERLAND

I'm sad to report that this movie was not good. The story didn't work, and the ending was awful. And even though we get some fun moments with the Red Queen and the visuals were amazing, the rest of the movie sucked. And I say "sucked" because with the hype, it should have been amazing. (*SPOILER ALERT) We revisit Alice 13 years after she descended into the rabbit hole, and she's about to be proposed to by an English Lord who she does not love. She escapes down the rabbit hole, but cannot remember that she had been there before. As she meets all the fantastical creatures of this world, she finally begins to remember, and helps them thwart the evil Red Queen's plans. I compare it to Robin William's HOOK , which had basically the same plot, but the execution was not there. Sorry Johnny Depp, even your commitment to the character couldn't help the suckage. If you have kids 9 and younger, they will enjoy it. But besides that, make sure you only pay for a matinee, or wait for the DVD.

THE BEERNT - A FOOL AND HER A**HOLE...

"Dear Ms. Beernt,

Ok, I've got a friend who was with a guy for two years. He treated her like dog shit. Although they'd been dating for months, when his friends asked if she was his girlfriend, he'd say 'No', humiliating her. He never went out of his way for her. She had to plan all their activities. He wasn't there for her when her grandmother died; he expected her to drive if they went on a trip (even though he was out of the way and should have met her at her place) and told her he was going to buy a 1-bedroom condo after she brought up the commitment issue. Finally, he avoided her for about a month, and when she finally confronted him about his assholery, he basically said he didn't want to be with her (DUH), and was treating her like crap so she would get sick of him and end the relationship. Granted, the whole drama was her fault as much as his; she could have cut bait much sooner. I can't tell you how many drunken crying phone calls I had to take from her. I got very sick of it.

So, after at least five months of therapy and dating other guys, Asshole is back, telling her that she's 'the one' and that he didn't know what he had till she was gone. Of course she's back with him; it was all she needed to hear. Am I wrong to be completely cynical about their chances? They're both in their mid 30s and emotionally immature, but I do want my friend to be happy."

Optimistic For No Good Reason

Dear Optimistic,

It's a good thing that your friend started therapy, but a shame that she did not learn much. Money not well spent. Sadly, I think this couple has a great chance. As long as she is willing to be a doormat. Asshole came back because he did not have a driver, maid, bank, or a vagina. Your friend has no idea that she is a badly paid whore. Yes - she should be done with this guy, and continue therapy. But she does not want to. Period. So where does this leave you? Don't ever take another phone call from her about this guy again. Drunk, or sober. If you have not already, let her know you think this relationship is imbalanced. Let her know he does not treat her well, and that you wish she wanted more for herself.

Now you are done. Move along - and wish her well. It will be a very sad ending.

Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief

Percy Jackson finds out he's the son of an Olympian God and a mortal, and sets out on a quest to recover Zeus' greatest weapon before the Gods start a war with each other. Now, my expectations were very low for this movie, but I actually thought it was good. Def. a weekend matinee with the kids, but I feel like everything fit together very well. Newcomer Logan Lerman plays Percy, a 17 year-old with an absent father and an uncanny affinity for water. He's got the Gossip Girl hair, the stunning blue eyes, and is very likable as our reluctant hero. And as a big fan of Greek mythology, I was happy to see a variety of characters splashed across the screen. *SPOILER ALERT

They give you Medusa, satyrs, a minotaur, furies, the 12 Gods, and much more. Great special effects, a scene stealing sidekick, and a beautiful demigod played by another newcomer, Alexandra Daddario. Go see it if you're into a good movie and you've already seen Avatar 4 times.

Traver Rains Photography Exhibit

The highly anticipated event was upon us this weekend at The Ranch studio, home of the very talented Traver Rains. The exhibit included gorgeous photography from The Ranch as well as abroad, clothes from his new collection, and stunning models wearing his gear. The exhibit was a great success, and we are very proud of our T-Rains on the West Coast. Pictures soon my lovelies.

Dear Harris of Hollywood,

When men cheat (we are talking about men in committed relationships, I assume?) it's about wanting to cum. What feels good at the moment. Most men are not cheating for the emotional attachment. Mature men - men who know that cheating is dishonest and sneaky, and will cause pain to someone they care about, choose to look past the instant arousal and attraction. They might choose to look at porn, or masturbate to images they desire, but don't get with their chosen partner. Cheating is not an act of love. It's selfish, and self serving. These two things don't belong in a committed relationship. If it's about variety - don't commit to one person. Then it's not cheating.
